2.- DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS – ARCO
How to exercise rights: Users can send a written communication to the registered office of Unikemia or to the email address indicated in the heading of this legal notice, including in both cases a photocopy of their ID or other similar identification document, to request the exercise of the following rights:

  • Right to request access to personal data: You can ask Unikemia if this company is processing your data.
  • Right to request their rectification (in case they are incorrect) or deletion.
  • Right to request the limitation of your treatment, in which case they will only be kept by Unikemia for the exercise or defense of claims.
  • Right to oppose the treatment: Unikemia will stop processing the data in the manner that you indicate, unless for compelling legitimate reasons or the exercise or defense of possible claims, they must continue to be processed.
  • Right to data portability: In the event that you want your data to be processed by another firm, Unikemia will facilitate the portability of your data to the new person in charge.

Possibility of withdrawing consent: In the event that consent has been granted for a specific purpose, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the treatment based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

How to complain to the Control Authority: If a user considers that there is a problem with the way in which Unikemia is handling their data, they can address their complaints to the Unikemia Security Manager or to the corresponding data protection authority, being the Agency Spanish Data Protection the one indicated in the case of Spain.

3.- CONSERVATION OF THE DATA
Disaggregated data: The disaggregated data will be kept without a period of deletion.

Customer Data: The period of conservation of personal data will vary depending on the service that the Customer hires. In any case, it will be the minimum necessary, and can be maintained until:

  • 4 years: Law on Violations and Sanctions in the Social Order (obligations regarding affiliation, registrations, cancellations, contributions, payment of salaries...); Arts. 66 et seq. General Tax Law (accounting books…);
  • 5 years: Art. 1964 Civil Code (personal actions without special term)
  • 6 years: Art. 30 Commercial Code (accounting books, invoices…)
  • 10 years: Art. 25 Law for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing.

Data of the subscribers to the feed by e-mail: From the moment the user subscribes until he unsubscribes.

User data uploaded by Unikemia to pages and profiles on social networks: From the time the user offers their consent until they withdraw it.

Data of applicants for internships or employment positions: In the event that the candidate is not selected, Unikemia may keep their curriculum vitae stored for a maximum of two years to incorporate it into future calls, unless the candidate states otherwise.

Data of users who connect to the Unikemia Wi-Fi network: The data will be kept for a maximum period of two years.

4.- ORIGIN, PURPOSES AND LEGITIMACY
4.1- E-MAIL, CONTACT FORMS AND TRADITIONAL MEANS OF COMMUNICATION
Web and hosting: The Unikemia Website has SSL TLS v.1.2 encryption that allows the user to securely send their personal data through standard-type contact forms, developed by Unikemia, and hosted on the servers that Unikemia has hired Webempresa.

Data collected through the web: The personal data collected will be processed automatically and incorporated into the corresponding files owned by Unikemia.

  • We will receive your IP, which will be used to verify the origin of the message in order to offer you the training programs best suited to your profile and needs, as well as data related to your ISP (Internet service provider).
  • Likewise, you can provide us with your information by telephone, email, and other means of communication indicated in the contact section.

Email: Our email service provider is: Google, Inc, through Google Apps for Business. We enforce certain communications with the Let's Encrypt SSL certificate service.

Instant messaging: Unikemia does not provide services through instant messaging, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, or Line.

Payment service providers: Through the Website, the Client can access, through links, third-party websites, such as PayPal, to make payments for the services provided by Unikemia. At no time does Unikemia staff have access to the bank details (for example, the credit card number) that the Client provides to said third parties.

Other services: Certain services provided through the Website (for example, the possibility of participating in a contest or raffle) may contain particular conditions with specific provisions regarding the protection of personal data. It is essential to read and accept it prior to requesting the service in question.

Purpose and legitimacy: The purpose of processing this data will only be to provide you with the information or services you request.

4.2- SOCIAL NETWORKS
Presence in networks: Unikemia has a profile in some of the main social networks on the Internet.

Purpose and legitimacy: The treatment that Unikemia will carry out with the data within each of the aforementioned networks will be, at most, the one that the social network allows for corporate profiles. Thus, Unikemia may inform, when the law does not prohibit it, its followers by any means that the social network allows about its activities, presentations, offers, as well as provide personalized customer service.

Data extraction: In no case will Unikemia extract data from social networks, unless the user's consent is obtained promptly and expressly to do so.

Rights: When, due to the very nature of social networks, the effective exercise of the follower's data protection rights is subject to the modification of his or her personal profile, Unikemia will help and advise to that end to the extent of its odds.

4.3- DRAWS, COMPETITIONS AND OTHER PROMOTIONAL ACTIONS
When participating in promotional actions organized exclusively by Unikemia, the data you provide will be processed solely by Unikemia for the purpose indicated in the statement of the action.

4.4- EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING OR PRACTICE SCHOLARSHIPS
Purpose: The applicant authorizes Unikemia to analyze the documents that he sends, all the content that is directly accessible through search engines (Bing, Google, Yahoo, etc.), the profiles that he maintains in professional social networks (LinkedIn, Xing, Viadeo, etc.), the data obtained in the entrance exams and the information that you reveal in the job interview, with the aim of assessing your candidacy and being able, where appropriate, to offer you a position. Unikemia may use the duly anonymized data to make statistics on the type of person who presents himself as a candidate, with the idea of publishing reports on it.

5.- PROCESSORS OUTSIDE THE EEA
Storage and encryption. Unikemia uses Let's Encrypt to encrypt all the information it receives and generates, as well as to be able to host it encrypted on Google Inc.'s Dropbox Inc. storage services via Google Drive and Microsoft via OneDrive.

Email. The Unikemia email service is provided using the services of Google Inc. through Google Apps.

Social networks. Unikemia makes use of the American social networks Facebook, LinkeIn and Twitter, to whom an international transfer of analytical and technical data is carried out in relation to the Website, being on its servers where Unikemia processes the data that, through of them, the users, subscribers or navigators deliver to the firm Unikemia or share with it.

Payment providers. In order for the client to be able to pay through PayPal, Unikemia will send the strictly necessary data of those to these payment processors for the issuance of the corresponding payment request.

6.- CONFIDENTIALITY
Unikemia employees, managers, and advisors involved in the services provided to the client are committed not to disclose or make use of the information they have accessed. The information provided by the client will, in any case, be considered confidential, and it cannot be used for other purposes than those related to the services contracted from Unikemia. Unikemia undertakes not to disclose or disclose information about customer contracts, or the duration of their relationship with them.
